Guided fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout with Mike.
I started fishing when I was eight years old and won my first trophy a year later. Whenever I could find the time, I'd fish in European rivers for carp ( up to 25 lb), walleye, pike and any other species I could hook.
From 2001 to 2004, I fished for trout and salmon through the USA and Canada, from Newfoundland to Alaska and all the other states on the way.
Now I invite you to discover the beautiful Marlborough region, with its crystal-clear rivers and spring creeks. Let's get out there!
I can customise your fishing trip to suit your angling preferences, budget and fitness level.

Ever wanted to learn (better) fly fishing?
Fly fishing is an angling method in which an artificial "fly" is used to catch fish.
Casting a nearly weightless fly or "lure" requires casting techniques significantly different from other forms of casting.
Fly fishermen use hand tied flies that resemble natural invertebrates or other food organisms, to provoke the fish to strike. Techniques for fly fishing also differ with habitat, lakes and ponds, small streams, large rivers, bays and estuaries.
Fly fishing is quite easy, provided you learn and understand the basics and use the right equipment.
