    Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

    Located at Marlborough's historically significant Omaka Aerodrome,

    the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre was established to provide a

    world-class destination for the appreciation of historic aircraft. It comprises one

    of the world's largest collections of World War 1 aircraft and rare memorabilia,

    including a mix of dramatically staged static displays along with flyable planes.

    Marlborough Sounds

    Stretching between the Queen Charlotte and Keneperu Sound is the Queen Charlotte Track.

    Perfect for hiking is this special track.

    A 70km track renowned for its stunning views and contrasting landscape, historical landmarks and wonderful variety of native bush and wildlife.

    Visitors to the Queen Charlotte Track will find this a unique walk as it passes through lush coastal forest, historic bays, and along skyline ridges with unsurpassed views of Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds.
